29th International Privacy Commissioners' Conference - Mont Royal Gala
Conceptualized, planned and produced a Gala Soirée at the Chalet du Mont Royal for 480 Privacy Commissioners and Accompanying Persons from around the world...on an incredibly beautiful Fall evening with the lights of Montreal a-twinkle below.
We gambled a bit on the weather, but cut the risk of an outdoor reception by erecting a huge tent in front of the Chalet. We presented "cirque-type" ground acrobatics entertainment as guests arrived for a lavish pre-Gala cocktail and welcome by Canada's Privacy Commissioner.
The Soirée included white-gloved parades of course after course of sumptuous regional cuisines produced as only the Fairmont Queen Elizabeth Hotel caterers can do it, intermingling cirque performers and musicians within the cavalcade of servers as each dish arrived for presentation to the guests.
From atop Mont Royal, guests strolled the belvedere panorama and toured the historic Chalet until the "wee hours". The last bus departed full.
